Genesee Fairy Trail Opening July 4th

Annual Genesee Fairy Trail

Genesee’s enchanted fairy trail commences on July 4th each year. 25-30 Fairy Houses are placed along the upper portion of Ryan Streamside Trail between the trailhead at Genesee Vista Road and the pedestrian bridge from July 2nd to September 15th.  It creates a magical trail for kids of all ages!

Fairy Houses are small whimsical dwellings for fairies to inhabit during the summer in Genesee. They range from simple handmade structures to elaborate designs – every year brings more creativity and magic to the trail.

Below is a map to the trail from the Vista Clubhouse. The clubhouse is marked by a pink house and the fairy trail is marked by a yellow line. So when you start walking from the clubhouse you would turn right, or West, down Currant Dr towards Genesee Vista Rd. You would then turn left down Genesee Vista Rd, pass Foothills Drive North on your right, till you reach Streamside Trail. It is about 0.2 miles from the Vista Clubhouse and marked by a large pull off for cars and a mailbox structure. The fairy trail is located on the South, or lower, side of the Streamside Trail.
