Social Clubs + Recreation

Tennis courts with mountain backdrops are not to be found just anywhere. Here in Genesee, we have some serious players and they play in rain or shine. If you are interested in joining the women’s tennis team, please contact:
Malou Van Eijk | or Sharon Naylor |

Come join us and see why pickleball is the fastest-growing sport in America! Pickleball open group play is scheduled at the Vista courts: Wednesdays, Fridays 10 – 12pm, & Sundays from 10am-Noon.

Just curious about pickleball? Please contact one of our pickleball ambassadors:

Connie + Bob Dunlap | or Chris Garlasco |

Keys are now available to play racquetball using the Genesee Village court located at 23801 Pondview Place. Please use the sign-in book, located outside the court, to make a reservation. Keys may be checked out from the Foundation office for 3 days. There is a $30.00 charge for lost keys. Use of the Village Clubhouse is limited to the racquetball court and locker rooms – the weight room and swimming pool are not included.

Our geocache scavenger hunt provides you with a number of GPS tasks, photo challenges, QR code challenges and questions about locations that may be anywhere throughout our Open Space. Some are quite obvious while others are a bit trickier. You will be able to use your Google maps app to help you locate the geocaches. If you have a GPS device, that could be helpful, but is not required!

When you find a geocache there may be treasures inside! Feel free to take something from the cache, leave something to replace it and then sign the logbook. If you do not have anything to leave, don’t take anything and just sign the logbook. Then please be sure to put the cache back exactly where you found it. If you think the cache is missing, please let us know as soon as possible by calling the Foundation office.
