The Genescene is a community monthly (with the exception of January) publication for the Genesee Foundation residents. There is news pertaining to Genesee Foundation Board meetings, Managers Report, Covenants, Letters to the Editor, Genesee Fire Department, Forestry, Open Space, Recreation, Outside Interests, seasonal interests, monthly calendar and Classified Ads.
LETTERS
The Genescene welcomes letters from its resident readers. Letters will be published at the discretion of the Genescene editors and must meet the following guidelines:
Letter topics must be directly related to the Genesee community or pertain to regional or local issues affecting the community.
Letters must be 250 words or less.
Letters must be signed and include the resident’s address and phone number.
The editors may elect not to publish any letter they consider potentially libelous, offensive or otherwise unsuitable.
Inaccuracies, incorrect statements or lack of clarity may lead to rejection
All rejected letters will be returned to the sender with notification of reason for rejection. Copies will be sent to the Genesee Foundation Board.
No more than two letters per person per year.
An exceptional Letter to the Editor which the editors considers well done and addresses an issue of interest to all residents could be published as either an editorial column or feature article.
Opinions expressed in letters to the editor are solely those of the writer and are not endorsed by the the Genescene editors or the Genesee Foundation. The Genesee Foundation is not responsible and shall not be held liable for anything printed in the Genescene
To submit an article to the Genescene newsletter: Please send letters or articles to genescene@geneseefoundation.org. Letters and articles should be full justified, font size 11, and in Word format. Please note that all letters and articles will be edited before the GENESCENE is published.
ADVERTISE
To advertise in the GENESCENE Classified Ads:
The applicant must fill out the GENESCENE Classified advertisement form.
Rates are $3.00 per line. Each line will hold 30 characters, including punctuation and spacing.
Maximum of twelve lines per ad allowed.

The Genesee Foundation does not accept credit card payment.
